To ensure your grievance is processed promptly, your formal complaint must include the following information:
- Full Name, Postal Address, and Email ID of the Complainant
- Exact URL of the article or content piece published on GovIndiaNews
- Specific paragraph or sentence objected to
- Detailed grounds for complaint (e.g., factual inaccuracy, defamation, copyright violation)
- Self-attested copies of supporting primary documents proving the inaccuracy or claim
- A declaration stating that the information provided in the complaint is accurate to the best of your knowledge
4. Grievance Acknowledgment & Resolution Timelines
Our Grievance Redressal Mechanism adheres to statutory processing timeframes:
- Acknowledgment: Every formal grievance submission will be acknowledged via email within 24 hours of receipt.
- Review & Decision: The Grievance Officer will examine the complaint against our primary source records and issue a formal decision within 15 days of receipt.
The Grievance Officer handles complaints regarding content published directly on GovIndiaNews. We cannot process official government scheme complaints, job application status queries, or administrative disputes on behalf of government agencies.
